Couples & Families • Adolescents • Mindfulness & Relaxation
Michelle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, working with clients in St. Paul at 1684 Selby Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55104. She works with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Michelle's primary focus is on helping individuals and couples strengthen and enhance the relationships in their lives by attending to the person and the systems they are involved in. We all have many systems we are a part of; our family system may be primary, yet there are friends, community, culture, work, and school systems that can affect our lives and well-being. And, more!
Michelle has received specialized training and sought out workshops over the years in the areas of Narrative Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Self Compassion and Mindfulness Practices and enjoys incorporating these into her work.
Currently, Michelle is adjunct faculty at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota School of Graduate Studies in the Marriage and Family Therapy Department, and has held that position for the past 12 years. She teaches Couples and Intimate Relationship courses as well as advises graduating students on their Capstone papers. Michelle has taught at the University of Minnesota in the Family Social Science Department and presented at state conferences and for local groups and agencies.
